Happy Wednesday! I'm excited to share with you my 60 second Easter Treat Holder that's on Graphic 45's blog today. Although it can be challenging to create a project within 60 second, Graphic 45's products are perfect for achieving these types of projects.  So, by using the Place In Time Deluxe Collectors Edition, and a ATC Black Policy Envelope, I was able to create this simple but quick and pretty treat holder, easy for anyone to recreate at home and perfect for your Easter Dinner Table.

Tip: You only need to use one sheet of paper to create this treat holder.

Here's the video tutorial on how I created my card:

Hello

Spring has finally arrived here on the Island and to celebrate it's arrival, I thought I'd share with you one of the cards that I created for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine's Spring Issue. I combined Nuance powder from Magenta, Distress Ink from Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink and a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create my Hello card.

For the background of the card, I combined Rosebud, Coral and Aquamarine Magenta Nuance Powder onto a piece of White Soft Finish cardstock. To get the flower background image, I die cut the Abstract Background out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Once the background dried, I adhered the Abstract Background overtop and added Trans. Glitter/Gold Dots to the centers of the flowers.

The banner that the hello word sits on, was created using the Stitched Fishtail Banners and Magenta Nuance Powder in Coral. Once the banner had dried, I cut a second larger banner out of black cardstock and adhered the two banners together. The Hello word was stamped and then die cut out using the Sentiments 2 - Just Because Die.

For the right side of the banner, I die cut two feathers. One feather was left white and edged with Black Soot Distress Ink. The other feather was coloured using Grey Magenta Nuance Powder. When using the Grey powder, a little goes a long way. The Leafy Branch 2 was die cut out twice and then Shabby Shutters Distress Ink was blended over the entire surface of the leaves. The little flower was die cut out twice from the Happy Flowers die and then Worn Lipstick as well as Abandoned Coral Distress Ink was blended overtop of the flowers. To finish the center of the flower, add a Trans. glitter/gold dot.

Here's the finished Hello card one more time.

To see this card as well as a second spring card, you'll want to check out the Must List in Creative Scrapbooker's Magazine - Spring Issue.

Supplies Used:

- Elizabeth Craft Designs: Stitched Fishtail Banners, Feathers, Sentiments 2 - Just Because Die, Sentiments 2 - Just Because Clear Stamp Set, Abstract Background, Leafy Branch 2, Happy Flowers, White Soft Finish Cardstock, Trans. Glitter/Gold Dots and Black Soft Finish Cardstock

- Ranger Ink: Jet Black Archival Ink
- Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink: Distress Ink - Shabby Shutters, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Black Soot
- Tombow: Mono Multi Liquid Glue

Beautiful Frame - Designer Challenge

It's time for a new Designer Challenge on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog today.  For March it's all about Framing it. With this month's challenge in mind, I set out to create a Scrapbook Layout inside of a picture frame that you can decorate with in any area of your home. You'll want to make sure to read below as I have a tutorial for you so that you can re-create my Beautiful Frame at home. Make sure to read all the way down to the bottom of the post as I have some information on how to get in on a fabulous giveaway from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

To start, die cut the Happy Frame out of patterned paper from the Wood Effect Paper Pack four times. Create the four strips by folding on the score lines and then shape them into long strips. You'll need to adhere one side of the patterned paper and adhered to the flat side of the strip to create the strip.

Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 7 1/2" x 7 1/2".

Adhere the strips together to create the frame. Make sure that the square end gets attached to an angle end. Continue to adhere the strips until the frame is created. Adhere the piece of 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" White Soft Finish Cardstock to the back of the frame. Set your frame aside.

From the Under the Sea patterned paper Pack, take out the watercolour colour anchor piece. Cut a piece that measures 6 3/4" x 6 3/4".  Distress the edges of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the patterned paper piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

With the Under the Sea Paper Pack still out, take the patterned paper piece out with the triangles. From the Stitched Squares, die cut the 5 1/4" stitched square and the 3 3/4" stitched square out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the patterned paper pieces. Ink the edges of the patterned paper piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the 5 1/4" Stitched Rectangle Die from the watercolour anchor patterned paper. Distress the edges of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the patterned paper piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the 4" Stitched Rectangle out of the Dot patterned paper from the Under the Sea Paper Pack. Die cut the 3 3/4" Stitched Square out of the Dot patterned paper. Distress the edges of the patterned paper pieces. Ink the edges of the patterned paper pieces using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Take out the 3/4" and 1 /2" Stitched Fishtail Banners. Die cut the 3/4" Stitched Fishtail Banner twice from two of the patterned papers from the Under the Sea Paper Pack. Die cut the 1/2" Stitched Fishtail Banner from one of the patterned papers from the Under the Sea Paper Pack. Distress the edges of the banners. Ink the edges of the banners using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Celebration Flags die, choose one of the flags. Die cut the flag twice out of patterned paper from the Under the Sea patterned paper pack. Ink the edges of the flags using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the 4 3/4" Stitched Square out of the Anchor patterned paper from the Sea World Paper Pack. Distress the edges of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the patterned paper piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the 4 3/4" Stitched Rectangle out of the Sea Animals patterned paper from the Sea World Paper Pack. Distress the edges of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the patterned paper piece using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Use the 4 3/4" Stitched Rectangle die to die cut the photo out.

From the Amazing Beautiful Die, die cut the Beautiful out of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Adhere the large anchor watercolour patterned paper piece to the inside of the frame.

Adhere the 5 1/4" Stitched Square triangle patterned paper piece 1/2" from the right and 1" from the top of the frame. Adhere the Sea Animal rectangle piece 1/2" from the left and 1 1/4" from the bottom of the frame.

Foam square the 4" Dot patterned paper stitched rectangle 1/4" from the left and 1/2" from the top of the frame. Foam square one of the 3/4" stitched fishtail banners to the top of the triangle square. Adhere the remaining banners slightly on the dot patterned paper stitched rectangle. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the anchor stitched square 3/4" from the right and 3/4" from the top of the frame.
